Special Sociology Advising Dates

Event Details

Registration is approaching and we want help you with Fall 2026 schedules. Make sure you're on track with your academic goals by meeting with an advisor. If possible, please bring a technological device and stop by, ANY TIME, during the following days/times:

You do NOT want to wait until the day of your registration to receive advising. If you cannot make an advising appointment in the next couple of weeks or have already met with an advisor and have a follow up, please stop by one of our advising week events. We hope to see you there!

  • Dr. Enrique Ochoa will provide a classroom presentation for the Social Life of Food course, drawing from their recent book and related research. The presentation will adapt a portion of the speaker’s book talk and engage students in discussion of the book’s key themes, research findings, and broader relevance to the study of food, culture, and social life.
